Card Extra

Dropping In from Evan Lorentz (07/1998)

See picture of Dropping In.

It pays to shadow your opponent when you have this interrupt on your side. If your ship is present when your opponent just beamed cards around (most often, up from or down to a planet for a mission attempt), you can sneak aboard that ship or facility and begin doing some damage. Use an Airlock or even just an outright attack to thin out your opponent's forces. Timing it out to be at the right location at the right time can be tricky... that's where a card like Mission Debriefing can come in handy. Or you can try to knock your opponent's SHIELDS down to less than 4 with a dilemma like "Pup."

Combo:

  • Dropping In + self-seeded Dead End: Seed your own Dead End where you'll encounter it early in a mission attempt. You can use Dropping In to remove that obstruction, then any Dead End your opponent may have seeded there is discarded as a duplicate.
