Dulmer by name, dull by nature, eh? Not exactly the life and soul of the Department of Temporal Investigations Christmas party (which usually takes place in June when the weather's much better!), but he's surprisingly good company when you set out to solve missions. His skill set is a good fit to many of the commonly found dilemmas around. SCIENCE and SECURITY on the same person is very nice to see and provides a healthy start for any Dangerous Liaisons he may encounter. With his best bud Lucsly he can avoid devolving into a humorless Neanderthal due to Barclay’s Protomorphosis Disease. Exobiology is an extremely useful skill for DNA Clues and Odo (DS9)'s "Cousin," for example, with the added bonus that you can leave him behind at Odo's "Cousin" if you find him too boring. Anthropology will help him pass Primitive Culture and he can even help with Oops! His statistics are unglamorous, which he can somehow turn into a virtue as his CUNNING will probably save him from Unscientific Method. Mission-wise, Anthropology and Exobiology appear on a variety of missions, several of which have nice high point values. So, he's not exactly the party animal (what would he have found to talk to Kirk about?), but he's certainly worth having around when you set off on your travels. Combo:
