Agent: Code name Mr. Garak. Retired spy. Non-supportive support operative. Mission profile: The CIVILIAN/Treachery combo is perfect for enabling War Council's card draws, or simply for benefitting from the card's free reporting and CUNNING boost. Mr. Garak can later retire for real at a Colony where he scores double points. Special Talents: Your operatives are on a mission attempt, and someone gets killed by a requirement-less dilemma (The Clown: Playing Doctor, or Flash Plasma Storm, for example). That dilemma makes you plunge headlong into another dilemma for which you are no longer prepared since the loss of the previous personnel. Sound familiar? Mr. Garak can change all that. After the first death in an immediately recognizeable dilemma combo, he can stop the mission attempt in its tracks, giving your crew or Away Team the chance to regroup and re-attempt. Aliases: Mr. Garak is a version of the Elim Garak persona, which has 3 other instances, all Cardassian. In a Cardassian deck then, it may be interesting to start out your mission attempt with Plain, Simple Garak (who allows you to switch versions at any time) and turn him into Mr. Garak to stop that attempt at the appropriate moment (switching instead to Elim Garak to save himself specifically, or Elim to make some random selection your choice, according to the exact situation).
