Male’s Love Interest & Plague Ship from Evan Lorentz (09/25/2000)

Like other combo dilemmas, this card takes two existing threats and forces you to worry about them at both planet and space missions. Here the result is particularly nasty, given the cards in question.

First comes a Male’s Love Interest, waiting to peel off a random male, no questions asked, no conditions provided. Next comes the nasty Tarellian Plague Ship, which takes away a MEDICAL (or else!) and paves the way for many a nasty dilemma combo. The efficiency of it all is particularly good here. Now you don't have to risk that your gender-related dilemma will fizzle against a Borg opponent - the Collective will still have to face the Plague Ship. Not that such a nasty dilemma needed an opening act!

Combos:

• Male’s Love Interest & Plague Ship + opponent's Dr. McCoy (TMP): Time to bring back the MEDICAL combos! If you can distract the good doctor before he's needed, your MEDICAL combo will have even more teeth - you'll be using it on a player who thought he'd get to nullify one of the dilemmas.
• Hippocratic Oath + Male's Love Interest & Plague Ship + Hyper-Aging: This new combo dilemma goes where Tarellian Plague Ship has never gone before - into a nasty planet combo.
• Male's Love Interest & Plague Ship + Female’s Love Interest & Garbage Scow: Towing the Scow won't be easy when you're down three personnel. And all this for only two seed slots! You'll still have room to put another filtering dilemma in front of them.
