Card Extra

Thrax from Michel M. Albert (01/23/2001)

See picture of Thrax.

Now you won't feel so guilty using an Alternate Universe Door just to play Garak ;-). You no longer have to fill up that Cryosatellite with so many Non-Aligned personnel either.

The second [AU] Cardassian offers a host of nice skills, from the ever-useful Computer Skill and Exobiology, to the rarer Physics and Law. In fact, he's surprisingly the first Cardassian who can enable Extradition AND be part of the beaming party. His high STRENGTH will certainly give him a number of nice targets to capture.

As long as you're planning to have Space-Time Portal on the table, why not discard it to allow an [AU] ship to report with him and Garak aboard? The Cardassians don't have an [AU] ship yet, but the Non-Aligned Fesarius has impressive attributes, and the Vulcan Lander a nice landing ability.

Combo:

  • Thrax + Extradition: No need to bring Makbar or Koval to the dilemma's location!
  • Space-Time Portal + Thrax + Garak + Balok + Fesarius + Extradition: Report directly to the dilemma's location with 2 SECURITY personnel, then return your captives to a flying fortress.
  • Space-Time Portal + Thrax + Garak + Zefram Cochrane + Phoenix: 10 points just for reporting a ship, then your Cardassians are free to board another vessel and help with mission attempts (Cochrane's just the cherry on the sunday).
