The indisputably competent and irredeemably infatuated Christine Chapel makes a fine addition to any Federation deck. She's an especially obvious candidate for inclusion in MEDICAL-focused decks and 23rd-century theme decks, especially since she reports for free if Dr. McCoy (TMP) or Mr. Spock is in play. Nurse Chapel features the ever-popular combination of MEDICAL classification with Biology and Exobiology, making her a great personnel to have around when facing down an Aphasia Device, DNA Clues, Garak Has Some Issues, Odo’s Cousin, and so on. Christine's other regular skill, Archaeology, may not strike some players are particularly helpful. That's an illusion. Although Archaeology isn't required by a large number of dilemmas, it is required by some profitable Federation missions, such as Excavation, Hunt for DNA Program, and Historical Research. Moreover, Nurse Chapel can solve not only Evaluate Terraforming but also Plague Planet by herself. Neither Dr. McCoy nor Lt. Bashir nor Beverly Crusher (Prem) nor Alyssa Ogawa (Prem) can say that. Looks like dating Roger Korby wasn't completely worthless. Besides all that, Christine makes a mean plomeek soup. Combos:
